Important Notice

Hey there!

We wanted to let you know about an upcoming change that may affect your site, so please make sure to read until the end for all the important details.

Here at Get Bowtied, our goal for 2023 is to make Shopkeeper the fastest online shop builder in the world. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re determined to make it happen!

When we first launched Shopkeeper in 2014, many of the features that are still around today didn’t exist or were only partially developed in the WordPress ecosystem.

But since then, WordPress and the world around it has evolved a lot. Some of the functionality included in Shopkeeper has become redundant, so we’re starting a new chapter in Shopkeeper optimization by dropping all redundant features that can be replaced with specialized plugins.

In the next update, we’ll be dropping the “Additional JS” feature that was introduced by our plugin “Shopkeeper Extender.” This feature allowed you to insert Javascript code directly into the header or footer of your website, but now it can be easily replaced by many plugins on the market. So it will be removed from Shopkeeper in the next update.

This change may affect your website, so please read carefully below.

[DEPRECATED] Additional JS

This feature will be removed on January 31, 2023, so please act as soon as possible.

If you need any assistance, please ensure that your support subscription is active and don’t hesitate to reach out to us on support. We’re always happy to help!

  5. Check your site and make sure everything works correctly.

That’s it!
